ERLING HAALAND MADE HISTORY: HE SCORED AGAINST ALL 25 RIVALS

The fifth week of the English Premier League witnessed a massive record that went down in football history. All eyes were completely on Norwegian superstar Erling Haaland in this historic match where Manchester City defeated Sunderland 5-3 at home. Before this extremely critical struggle played at the Etihad Stadium, Sunderland was the only team that the talented forward faced in the league but could not air its nets yet. In the eighty-first minute of the match, Haaland made a very hard strike from the six-yard box to the flawless cross made by Josko Gvardiol from the left wing, and he brought the leather round together with the nets. This goal, which was cancelled at first on the grounds of offside, gained absolute validity after the detailed examination made in the VAR room. With this unforgettable goal, the Norwegian striker scored against all twenty-five different teams he rivaled throughout his Premier League career, completing his unique collection flawlessly. The struggle took the fans' breath away with eight wonderful goals. Dutch star Brian Brobbey, playing for Sunderland, made a magnificent hat-trick with the goals he scored in the twelfth, thirty-third, and fifty-ninth minutes. However, this superior personal effort of the young forward was not enough to save his team from defeat. According to statistics, Brobbey went down in official records as the first player to score a hat-trick in the Premier League and leave the pitch defeated since Roque Santa Cruz in two thousand and seven. Manchester City's other goals were scored by Enzo Fernandez, Rayan Cherki, and Antoine Semenyo with two elegant goals. Starting the season like a storm under the management of new head coach Enzo Maresca, Manchester City preserved its place at the summit. The Italian coach wrote his name in English football history as the sixth coach to win his first five league matches after legendary Pep Guardiola.
