OUR GOLDEN GENERATION MELTS: HUGE FRUSTRATION IN OUR TEAM

Our National Team, which we harbored great hopes for and called a golden generation, disappointed us deeply with the worrying performance it put on the pitch recently. Our squad got eliminated from the World Cup qualifiers, where everyone showed them as favorites, in a very bitter way. Our boys hit rock bottom by taking 5 defeats in the last 6 official matches. Our National Team left the pitch defeated with heavy scores such as 2-0 against Australia, 0-1 against Paraguay, 0-1 against France, 1-4 away against Italy, and 3-0 against Belgium. Our only consolation became the 3-2 score we got against the United States. However, this victory did not suffice to cover up the crisis. Afterward, our national players lost 3 consecutive matches in the Nations League, virtually losing the chance to advance. Of course, losing to tough opponents always remains within the possibilities. But the fundamental point that devastates us becomes the spiritless picture our team presented on the pitch. Our National Team failed to compete with its opponents in any way. We watch a group of players who fail to show a reaction, lose their fighting power, and get blocked tactically. That hopeful generation, which once lifted the country to its feet with its ambition, entered a worrying period of stagnation. How the technical staff will find a solution to this collapse remains completely uncertain for now. As we feel devastated, this unresponsive state becomes the focal point of criticisms. If they do not take an urgent precaution, this valuable player group will go down in records as a massive disappointment for Turkish football history.
