ARSENAL AND ARTETA AGREE: MASSIVE CONTRACT ON THE WAY

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta put an end to the discussions about his future with the English club. In his statements to the media, the successful coach stated that there was no doubt between him and the club regarding the contract extension and that both parties shared the same vision. It was learned that the negotiations, which were postponed during the summer transfer window because the club focused entirely on new transfers, gained momentum again with the approach of the international break. Arteta comforted the fans by saying, "There is nothing to be concerned about for both me and the club. We both have the same ambition and the same will. Whenever the time is right, we will get that done." According to Sami Mokbel from the BBC, the Arsenal management reached the final stage on a new contract with Arteta, and the talks gained great momentum in recent days. The Spanish manager's current contract included a guaranteed fee of 10 million pounds per season and an extra bonus of 5 million pounds in case of participation in the Champions League. With the new agreement, it was stated that Arteta's current salary would be significantly increased, making him one of the highest-paid managers in the football world. David Ornstein also previously confirmed that he expected the parties to shake hands soon. The news in the British press showed that the details of the massive contract became clear and only the right moment was awaited.
