BAD TREND FOR BLUES: DANGER BELLS FOR ALONSO

Dark clouds have started to gather over Chelsea, who entered the new season in the English Premier League with great hopes and under the leadership of Xabi Alonso. The London team, which started the season by making two out of two with two consecutive brilliant victories, gave its fans great excitement. However, this positive atmosphere was very short-lived. The Blues experienced a virtual collapse in the last three matches they played in the league and were able to extract only one point from the pitch. These unexpected point losses caused the team to take a heavy wound in the summit race. The even more worrying aspect of the situation was the great weaknesses experienced in the defense. Chelsea conceded goals in all five of the matches they played in the Premier League this season and could not find a solution to the problems in the defensive line. Following these unstable results, the London representative dropped down to the 7th step in the standings, despite having played an extra match compared to their rivals. Things are definitely not going well for the Spanish head coach Xabi Alonso, who was brought to the head of the team with great expectations at the beginning of the season. The fact that the team both lost its productivity in attack and left gaps in defense greatly increased the pressure on the young manager. While the British press emphasized that Alonso needs to make urgent changes in the team's system, the fans are also quite unhappy with the course of events. The results to be obtained in the coming weeks seem to directly affect Alonso's future at the club.
