Sharing the difficulties he experienced in his private life and financial processes with a great sincerity, the legendary name gives very important advice to the young talents in the football world. Telling the great destruction he experienced in all its bareness, Carlos summarizes the situation with the words, "I lost 99% of my income from football because of agents and family problems." Wanting to protect future generations based on his own experiences, the successful name warns by saying, "I made mistakes, and that's why I ask young players not to repeat them." The legendary player details that nightmare-like night he lost a large part of his wealth and its aftermath with these striking expressions: "I had a very serious family problem. On Thursday, I went to bed at midnight and on Friday, I received a pile of documents I knew nothing about. That’s when I realised I had lost my entire history. I had to restructure my financial and family situation." Not giving up after this massive financial collapse and putting his life back in order, Carlos reminds young people that they need to be prepared for after football. Emphasizing the importance of branding, the experienced football man says, "It’s about building a history as a player and leveraging your image. When I decided to leave football, I already had my sporting director’s licence and was working with many brands." Roberto Carlos does not just keep these bitter experiences he experienced to himself, but he will also organize seminars to guide future generations and will directly support the career planning of young players. These honest statements of the Brazilian legend almost carry the quality of a lesson for players in the modern football industry.
