PATIENCE RUNS OUT AT TOTTENHAM: TIME TO PART WAYS WITH DE ZERBI

English Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur, entering the season with great hopes and a massive budget, saw its crisis deepen. Spending exactly 450 million euros to strengthen its squad in the summer transfer window, the London team experienced a nightmare in the first 5 weeks of the league. The team managed by Roberto De Zerbi created a huge disappointment by collecting only 2 points in the past 5 league matches. Failing to score in the first four weeks, Tottenham found their first and only league goals in the 3-2 loss against Aston Villa. This barrenness in attack and unsuccessful results put Italian manager Roberto De Zerbi, who earns an annual salary of 15 million euros, in the center of criticism. Getting their only win this season with a 5-1 score against Charlton in the EFL Cup, the capital team got eliminated from the cup after losing 2-0 to Newcastle United in the next round. The bad football reflected on the pitch and the desperate image of the team completely overflowed the club management's patience. The British press wrote that the possibility of parting ways with De Zerbi became very strong. It was learned that the experienced coach's fate would become clear at the board meeting to be held in the coming days.
