HIDDEN HERO IN SPAIN: DISTRIBUTED HIS 1 MILLION EURO BONUS

A highly meaningful event, rarely seen in world football history and gaining the great appreciation of the sports public, took place. Diario AS, one of Spain's leading sports newspapers, shared this historical gesture signed by a Spanish world champion who absolutely did not want to reveal his name with its readers. In the details of the news, it was stated that the star footballer, who experienced a World Cup victory with the Spain National Team and qualified for a massive financial reward after this great success, refused to take this money. The successful player resorted to a much more meaningful way instead of transferring the championship bonus worth approximately 1 million Euros allocated to him by the federation to his own account. The hero footballer, whose name was kept secret, held a special meeting with the Spanish Football Federation officials and requested that this massive amount of 1 million Euros he won be distributed equally to all lower-level employees working within the institution. Federation officials welcomed this extremely generous and honorable request of the player with great astonishment and satisfaction. Necessary official procedures were completed in a short time, and the mentioned bonus amount was transferred to the bank accounts of all employees, from kitchen staff to cleaning personnel. The Diario AS newspaper carried this unique event to its headlines but strictly respected the player's privacy request and did not reveal his name in any way. The Spanish press and fans talked about this solidarity example exhibited by this hidden hero for a long time.
