CHELSEA'S MARTINEZ REGRET: FAILS TO KEEP CLEAN SHEETS

English Premier League giant Chelsea failed to get the expected efficiency from the Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano "Dibu" Martinez, whom they transferred to entrust their goal to an experienced and reliable name. In the first days when the transfer was officially announced, Chelsea fans experienced great joy due to the addition of an experienced goalkeeper who had achieved worldwide success. Martinez, who was expected to close the security gap in the team's goal and lead the defense, signed for the London team with great hopes. However, the picture reflected on the pitch fell far short of the expectations of the fans and the technical staff. The Argentine gloves made a very bad start by conceding exactly 12 goals in his first 5 Premier League matches with the Chelsea jersey. The incompatibility he experienced with the defensive line and the faulty goals he conceded suddenly made the experienced goalkeeper the focus of criticism. Despite being shown as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, Martinez's nightmare-like start to his new adventure in England resonated widely in the British press. Sports authorities emphasized that the current statistics were a complete disappointment, reminding the time spent by the Chelsea management for this transfer and the initial enthusiasm of the fans. The bill for the unsuccessful results received by the team was largely cut to the defense and Martinez, who could not close his goal to opponents. It became a matter of curiosity whether the Argentine goalkeeper would recover in the coming weeks.
