NATIONAL TEAM PLANNING CRISIS BETWEEN RONALDO AND JESUS

The background of the crisis between Cristiano Ronaldo and manager Jorge Jesus in the Portugal national team slowly comes to light. The striking statements made by Record CEO Pedro Sousa clearly reveal the tension experienced within the team. According to the information conveyed by Sousa, Cristiano Ronaldo seriously considered ending his national team career right after the last World Cup. However, the President of the Portugal Football Federation and the experienced coach Jorge Jesus stepped in and convinced the legendary player to stay in the team. The star player's decision to leave changed completely with the 4-match planning made with the technical committee, and the parties reached a definite agreement on this special program. According to this plan, Ronaldo would definitely not play in the second and third matches the team will play. However, right after the end of the second match, Jorge Jesus took an unexpected decision and broke this agreement. The experienced coach held a face-to-face meeting with Ronaldo and informed him that he will stay on the pitch for 30 minutes in the next match. Jesus, not satisfied with this decision, also signaled to the star player that he can play him in the Denmark match too. The failure to keep the promises and the sudden change of plans make cold winds blow between the two. Pedro Sousa states that he feels a great concern about this process and hopes that the parties will reach a mutual agreement as soon as possible for the good of Portuguese football. The whole football public will wait with great curiosity to see how this crisis will resolve in the coming days.
