CENTER-BACK CRISIS IN REAL MADRID: KONATE INJURED

The Spanish La Liga giant Real Madrid team experienced a very big crisis in the defense line before the critical Villarreal match and shook deeply. According to the developments transferred to the sports public by the Spanish sports newspaper Marca, the center-back position in the capital squad completely collapsed. Ibrahima Konate, one of the most important names of the team, suffered an unfortunate injury in the last training and the club removed him from the match squad definitively. Just before this bad news, the Brazilian star Eder Militao and the young talent Raul Asencio also experienced severe injuries, and the treatment processes of both players began. In addition to these names, the talented defender Dean Huijsen fell into a suspended status due to the cards he received and left his team completely alone in this tough struggle. After all these negative developments, the Real Madrid team had only the German defender Antonio Rudiger left as a professional A-team level center-back. The manager immediately put his emergency plans into action to solve this massive crisis. Sources stated that he will pull either the French star Aurelien Tchouameni, whose main position is midfield, or Denzel Dumfries, who plays right-back, to the center-back area. If this temporary formula fails, the technical staff will obligatorily put a young player from the famous youth academy team La Fabrica directly into the starting eleven. The fans will wait for the score against a team with high attacking power like Villarreal with a great anxiety. The club management will rapidly take action to reinforce the defense line in the winter transfer window. The Madrid squad will try to pass this bend without any losses to avoid taking a heavy wound in the championship race soon.
