HEAVY BLOW TO GUARDIOLA: 6 CHAMPIONSHIPS IN DANGER

Things did not settle down in Manchester City, which faced the risk of massive sanctions on the grounds of violating financial rules in the English Premier League. A possible penalty scenario directly threatened the glorious history of not only the club but also the legendary manager Pep Guardiola. The successful Spanish coach completely left his position as Manchester City manager and did not start the new season at the head of the team. The extraordinary successes achieved by the experienced name, who said goodbye to the club, during his City career now faced the danger of cancellation. The English press wrote that if the championships won by the Manchester team were officially considered invalid, the 6 league championships won by Pep Guardiola in England were also completely erased from the records. The successful coach lifted the trophy by breasting the tape in the 2017-2018, 2018-2019, 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024 seasons during his tenure at the club. A possible sanction decision erased these 6 historical victories from the official documents of English football. The Guardiola front, which did not take charge of the team in the new season, followed this legal process from afar but with great anxiety. Football authorities emphasized that the issue of exactly which seasons were subject to punishment or whether all trophies were completely deleted was not yet clear. The investigation board did not announce the final judicial decision yet, and the situation remained a huge unknown. This great uncertainty aroused curiosity. Fans waited for the court result to see if the efforts of their legendary coach perished on the table.
