MAN UTD'S WONDERKID JJ GABRIEL IN BARCELONA

Manchester United's 15-year-old highly rated prospect JJ Gabriel completely broke ties with the club. According to the latest reports shared by Sky Sports and Daily Mail, the young talent made a surprising request to the club management for the immediate cancellation of his current registration and contract. The young striker, who put on a magnificent performance and scored a hat-trick in his first match in the UEFA Youth League, was controversially left out of the squad for the 4-0 Champions League victory against Sabah despite this success. Gabriel, who stopped training with the team after this incident, left the United Kingdom on Thursday and flew to the Catalonia region of Spain via France. The player's family sat at the transfer table with the officials of Barcelona and Real Madrid, who have shown great interest in the young star for a long time. The Spanish giant Barcelona invited the young player to tour its facilities last August and brought him together with Lamine Yamal. It was learned that European giants such as Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as Real Madrid, closely follow the player's situation. Although players cannot transfer abroad until the age of 18 according to UK rules, JJ Gabriel's Irish passport provided a great advantage. Thanks to this dual citizenship, the young star gained the right to officially sign for any European Union-based club as soon as he turns 16 on October 6. The Manchester United side strictly rejected the player's contract termination request so far.
