RECORD REVENUE AND NEW STADIUM MOVE FROM MANCHESTER UNITED

According to the financial reports shared by famous sports journalist Ben Jacobs, the financial situation of the English football giant Manchester United came to light. The Red Devils spent exactly 63.5 million Pounds for the necessary land purchase within the scope of the project to build a new stadium. The club management displayed an incredible economic success and announced a record revenue table of 677.6 million Pounds despite the team not taking part in any European cup competition in that financial year. In addition to this massive revenue, a net operating profit of 22.6 million Pounds entered the club's safe. New stadium investments and increasing commercial revenues expanded the vision of the club. However, the pessimistic picture on the other side of the coin appeared before the board of directors once again. Despite the announced massive revenue figures and the operating profit of millions of Pounds obtained, the total debt burden of the Manchester United club remained above the 1 billion Pound limit. The English team, one of the biggest clubs in the world, determined new strategies to alleviate the debt burden of billions while continuing these intense commercial activities off the pitch. The English press attributed the team creating such a historical revenue even in a season without Europe to the unshakable brand value of the club. Fans celebrated the purchase of the new stadium land with great enthusiasm, but they seriously criticized the board of directors due to the massive debt.
