The future of Porto's 19-year-old Portuguese talent Rodrigo Mora is back in the spotlight. According to journalist Oguz Oruc, Mora failed to make head coach Francesco Farioli's plans in the Portuguese Super Cup, with the Italian manager opting for South Korean Inbeom Hwang rather than the young No. 10 when substituting Gabri Veiga in the 73rd minute. Having served as Veiga's direct backup for much of last season, that decision has raised further questions over Mora's future at the club.
According to the report, Galatasaray are seen as the most serious potential buyer among clubs looking to add a young, high-potential attacker to their squad this summer. Rather than pursuing an outright purchase, the Turkish champions are said to be considering a loan deal with a mandatory purchase option, with that option potentially set around €45-50 million. However, Porto are reportedly not currently open to such a structure, insisting instead on a permanent sale.
Mora, under contract with Porto until 2030 and currently valued at €38 million, made 44 appearances across all competitions last season, contributing five goals and two assists. Having previously turned down a €53 million offer from a Gulf club, Porto are said to expect any deal to start at a minimum of €50-60 million. Galatasaray's management are reportedly maintaining initial contact through the player's representatives, though the process has yet to reach the stage of an official offer.
