INTER THE KING OF COMEBACKS: 6TH SUCCESS WITH CHIVU

In the Italian Serie A, Inter created a massive resonance in the football world with the incredible character and comebacks they showed on the pitch under the management of Cristian Chivu. Although the Milan team fell 2-0 behind early in the tough Roma away game in the league, they did not give up and left the field with a 2-2 draw, showing tremendous resistance. This dramatic draw went down in the records as the sixth match Inter did not lose after falling two goals behind during the Chivu era. According to statistics, the black-and-blues were able to achieve this success only six times in total during the ten seasons before Chivu. The fighting spirit the Romanian coach instilled in the team reached its peak especially this season. In addition to the 2-2 result obtained against Roma, Inter exhibited a similar character against Napoli and Udinese in just a few months this season. Coming back from 2-0 behind to defeat Napoli 3-2, Inter left the field with a glorious 5-3 victory in another match against Udinese despite falling behind by two goals again. Signing a comeback from 2-0 for the third time this season alone, the team proved that it took on a warrior identity completely far from fragility. Chivu's tactical touches on the sidelines and the belief in winning he instilled in his players received great praise in the Italian sports press.
