FAKE COVID VACCINE INVESTIGATION INTO GRANIT XHAKA

According to striking allegations in the Swiss press, experienced midfielder Granit Xhaka found himself in legal trouble. According to the news by Corriere del Ticino, the Lucerne Public Prosecutor's Office launched an official investigation into the claims that the successful footballer obtained a forged Covid-19 vaccination certificate in 2021. Xhaka, who played for the English Premier League team Arsenal at that time, initially refused to get the coronavirus vaccine. Testing positive for Covid-19 while unvaccinated, the star player missed critical matches of the Swiss National Team due to quarantine rules. A while after this incident, Xhaka declared to the public that he got vaccinated and submitted the relevant certificate. However, after years passed, Swiss authorities started to question the authenticity of this document. The Lucerne Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an in-depth investigation to determine whether Xhaka actually got vaccinated during that period or whether he obtained this certificate through illegal means. Under Swiss law, forging and using fake health documents fall under serious crimes. It was stated that if the document is proven to be fake as a result of the investigation, the experienced footballer could face serious legal sanctions. No official statement came from the Xhaka side regarding the ongoing legal process and allegations. All eyes turned to the outcome of the investigation conducted by the prosecutor's office.
