ZIDANE'S TURKEY PLAN BECAME CLEAR: MBAPPE ON THE LEFT WING

The new head coach of the French National Football Team, Zinedine Zidane, made a fast start to his duty and went for radical changes in the tactical formation before the Turkey match. According to the famous French sports newspaper L'Equipe, the legendary manager decided to field his team with a four-three-three system. The biggest surprise of this offensive system was the radical player choices in the attack. Zidane took the biggest star of the team, twenty-seven-year-old Kylian Mbappe, from his usual center forward region and assigned him directly to the left wing position. He entrusted the number nine position at the center of the attack to Ousmane Dembele. The intense training session held on Wednesday completely confirmed these surprise tactical plans of the technical committee. Throughout the training, Zinedine Zidane made his players memorize all the offensive and defensive details of the new system one by one. Twenty-seven-year-old Mbappe carried out special exercises to break the balance of the opponent defense with the runs he made by cutting inside from the left wing. Dembele made extra trials on meeting the ball and finishing in the forward position. The French sports press explained this radical decision of Zidane with the desire to increase the productivity of the team in attack and to exhibit a more dominant game against Turkey. The experienced coach, who went down in football history with the successes he achieved at Real Madrid for years, clearly showed with these choices that he wanted to reflect his own tactical signature on the pitch in his first match in the national team. All eyes turned to what kind of result this new system and player choices yielded in the tough Turkey game. French fans waited with great excitement for the performance. The technical committee completely finished its tactical preparations after Wednesday's training and started to wait for the match time.
