The sixth week of the Super Lig witnessed a massive match that deeply affected the summit race. Amed Sportif made its mark on the week by defeating its strong rival Besiktas 3-2 at home. In this critical appointment where two ambitious teams faced each other, the tactical war between head coaches Besnik Hasi and Italiano took breaths away. The host Amed Sportif, starting the match extremely fast, got the stands on their feet with wonderful long-range goals scored from outside the penalty area by Orban in the 13th minute and Dia Saba in the 22nd minute. Although Besiktas got hopeful with Vlahovic's goal in the 55th minute, Amed Sportif increased the gap to two again with Furkan Soyalp in the 59th minute. The host team, seeing a red card in the later stages of the match, did not compromise on team defense despite being left with ten men on the pitch. Although the black-and-whites made the score 3-2 with Orkun Kökçü's penalty goal in the 90+8th minute, they could not find the equalizer in the limited time remaining. Besnik Hasi's students achieved a great victory by leaving the field with three points. Increasing its points to thirteen, Amed Sportif left Galatasaray behind on goal difference and seized the title of the new leader. On the other hand, Besiktas stayed at twelve points and fell to the third place, taking its second defeat.
