CHELSEA'S WINTER MOVE: BROBBEY AT THE TOP OF THE LIST

Chelsea pressed the button for a transfer operation to strengthen its attacking line. The staff of the London team decided to take official steps for Sunderland's Dutch striker Brian Brobbey, whom they followed closely since the summer. Sources announced that the Chelsea management planned a serious move during the winter transfer period to add the twenty-four-year-old talented center forward to the squad. The young footballer, who exhibited a remarkable performance on the league stage with the Sunderland jersey, gained the appreciation of Chelsea officials with his technical capacity, game intelligence, and strong physical structure. The Dutch attacking player aired the opponent nets exactly three times in the first five official matches he took the field with his team this season and drew a highly in-form image. Aiming to find a permanent solution to the finishing problems it experienced in the attacking lines, the London representative analyzed this high form graphic of Brobbey in a detailed way. The scout team observed the development of the twenty-four-year-old player, his cold-bloodedness inside the penalty area, and his effectiveness in the match for a long time and presented a highly positive report to the management. The technical committee stated that the talented player drew a profile very suitable for their attacking systems and requested this transfer to be finished absolutely in January. The Sunderland side did not look warmly at all to losing the Dutch star in the middle of the tough marathon. However, according to the British press, the Chelsea management immediately mobilized its financial resources to convince the player and knock on the door of Sunderland with an unrejectable transfer fee. Official negotiations between both clubs were expected to gain great speed. The football public waited with great curiosity whether the young star would move to London. Fans discussed the dynamism this possible transfer would add to the team over social media. The management aimed to finish this transfer quietly without losing him to rivals.
