MONACO DESTROYS GIANTS: FILIPE LUIS' FLAWLESS PLAN

Brazilian head coach Filipe Luis embarked on a dream-like adventure at the helm of AS Monaco. Making an incredible start to the new season in the French Ligue 1, the red-and-white team gained immense momentum by putting 13 of the 15 possible points into their account in the first five matches they played. The young manager's students made this magnificent start not against ordinary teams, but against the biggest title contenders of the league. Returning with a draw from the Strasbourg away match after the victory against Lens, Monaco put on its real show of strength against the giants of the league. Filipe Luis's team attracted all the attention by knocking down the defending champion Paris Saint-Germain first, and then their fierce rivals Olympique Marseille. Finally passing the Le Havre hurdle without any losses, the club settled in the leadership seat in Ligue 1 with 13 points. Monaco's flawless performance was not limited to the domestic league. Eliminating their opponents one by one in the play-off round, the team also put the UEFA Conference League ticket in its pocket. Filipe Luis made a fairy-tale start by getting 6 wins and 1 draw in a total of 7 official matches he played on the Monaco bench in this new chapter of his managerial career. The pressing football, defensive discipline, and fast attack organizations displayed by the team on the pitch received great praise from the French press. Both fans and sports authorities stated that this enormous unbeaten streak carried a very strong message.
