NO SUCH THING SINCE 1940: 31-GOAL SHOW FROM BARCA IN 7 GAMES

Starting the season like a storm in the Spanish La Liga, Barcelona set a historical record with the 3-1 Sevilla away victory. The Catalan giant, taking on a completely different identity in attack under the management of German head coach Hansi Flick, made a show of force by reaching a total of thirty-one goals in the first seven matches of the league. According to statistics, Barcelona wrote its name in the golden pages of history as the first team to pass the thirty-goal threshold in the first seven weeks of La Liga since the 1940-1941 season. Behind this massive goal statistic that came after eighty-five years lay the flawless attacking organization exhibited by the team. The direct contribution to the score by active players such as Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, Rodri, Pedri, and Anthony Gordon in Hansi Flick's system formed the basis of this historical success. The claret-blues, who literally blockaded the opponent's goal away at Sevilla, made a difference with quick passing and effective wing organizations. Especially the perfect harmony of young talents and experienced names completely broke the resistance of opposing defenses. The Spanish sports press brought this goal rain to their headlines, praising the rhythm caught by the team. Fans increased their championship hopes even more with the breaking of the eighty-five-year record. Barcelona became the most talked-about team in European football.
