RONALDO'S GREAT GESTURE: REFUSED SALARY FOR TEAMMATES

The real leadership example exhibited by world star Cristiano Ronaldo inside the club while wearing the Saudi Arabian team Al Nassr jersey aroused a massive echo. The Portuguese legend's former teammate, Spanish defender Alvaro Gonzalez, shared a serious salary crisis experienced in the club and Ronaldo's historical reaction to this situation with the sports public. The successful centre-back clearly expressed that some players in the team did not receive their payments for a long time, and even some names did not see any salary at all for months. Against this unfair situation, Cristiano Ronaldo, the highest-earning and biggest star of the team, took a very harsh stance against the management. According to the information conveyed by Alvaro Gonzalez, the Portuguese star directly confronted the club officials and supported his victimized friends. Ronaldo turned to the executives and clearly conveyed that he refused to accept a single penny from the club until all victimized club staff and footballers received their dues completely. This self-sacrificing move of the world-famous star carried the feeling of unity and solidarity inside the team to the highest level. The legendary name, who defended the rights of ordinary players in the dressing room despite his own massive contract, proved to everyone that he acted not only as a striker but also as a great captain. The sports press carried these words of Alvaro Gonzalez to the newspaper headlines. Football fans experienced a great sense of appreciation against this exemplary solidarity and character exhibited by Ronaldo.
