BASTONI RUMOURS IN SPAIN: BARCELONA STEPS IN

One of the powerful teams of Spain La Liga, Barcelona, turned its route to Italy to solidify its defense line. The Catalan giant took the Italian national centre-back Alessandro Bastoni, who successfully sweats the jersey of Serie A representative Inter, among its potential transfer targets. According to the news sourced by TEAMtalk, the executives of the Spanish club, who want to increase their defensive options, closely follow the current situation of the talented player. The Barcelona technical committee found Bastoni's ability to build the game from the back extremely suitable for the tactical structure of the team. Spanish officials immediately started preliminary meetings to add the player to the squad. However, a financially very challenging process awaits the Spanish team in this transfer operation. The Italian club Inter does not feel any pressure on itself to dispose of Bastoni, who is the backbone of the defense. The Milan team determined the market value of its player as exactly 80 million Euros during the summer transfer period. The Inter management decided not to evaluate any offer below this high price. The Italian representative wants to protect its defensive stability for many years by keeping its successful centre-back in the team. The Barcelona front spends intense overtime on how it can realize this giant transfer within the current budget limits. Club executives look for alternative formulas containing a swap or bonuses to reduce the transfer fee. The Spanish and Italian sports press carry this important development to their pages. Football authorities expect Barcelona to knock on Inter's door with a formal offer.
