ORKUN EARTHQUAKE IN THE NATIONAL TEAM: OUT AGAINST FRANCE!

The National Football Team experienced a massive shock before the France struggle that it hosted at the Kocaeli Stadium on Friday, September twenty-five, in the first match of the two thousand twenty-six and two thousand twenty-seven UEFA Nations League A League group one. Orkun Kökçü, one of the most key names in the midfield of the crescent-star team, was completely removed from the squad due to the serious injury he suffered. The medical committee examined the successful footballer's condition in detail and reported to the technical committee that the probability of the player wearing the jersey not only against France but in all matches during this national break was very low. This unexpected development literally turned head coach Vincenzo Montella's game plans upside down. The Italian manager made an urgent situation assessment to fill this massive gap in the midfield. Montella, who did not want to lose the superiority in the center of the game to the opponent in the critical France test, turned to other potential talents in the squad. The experienced technical man immediately scrutinized valuable alternatives such as Salih Özcan, Demir Ege Tıknaz, Bartuğ Elmaz, İsmail Yüksek, and Melih Kabasakal to overcome this crisis in the midfield. The technical committee, which followed the performance of these players closely in the training sessions, spent intense overtime to determine the starting eleven they put on the pitch against France. Especially İsmail Yüksek's dynamism and Salih Özcan's international match experience stood out in this critical decision. Young talents Demir Ege Tıknaz, Bartuğ Elmaz, and Melih Kabasakal also worked with all their might in the practices to grab the jersey. This injury crisis experienced before this giant excitement drew the attention of the entire football public to the midfield structure of the team. Fans waited with great curiosity for the performance. The team united for victory.
