SALAH RECITAL IN TRABZON: LIONS TORN APART

In the Turkish Super Lig, Trabzonspor inflicted a historic defeat on Galatasaray at home. The claret-blue team wiped their opponent off the pitch in their first match under the management of new head coach Thomas Reis, securing a massive 4-0 victory. The undisputed hero of the night was the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah. The host team started the match like a storm and took the lead with Salah's goal in the 4th minute. Continuing his show, Salah made a wonderful assist for Saviolo's goal in the 39th minute, and took the stage once again in the 44th minute to set the half-time score at 3-0. Galatasaray's desperate and disorganized appearance continued in the second half. Unable to intervene in the bad trend from the sidelines, head coach Okan Buruk was punished with a red card in the 73rd minute due to his fierce objections off the pitch. In the 80th minute, Salah found the net once again, completing his hat-trick and directly contributing to all 4 goals of his team. In the 85th minute of the nightmare night for Galatasaray, Ugochukwu received a red card after a hard foul, leaving his team a man down on the pitch. Remaining at 13 points with an extra game played after this heavy defeat, Galatasaray will hand over the leadership seat to their arch-rivals if Besiktas wins tomorrow. Trabzonspor, making a dream start with Thomas Reis, increased their points to 10 and temporarily settled in 5th place.
