The 2026 World Cup Group C stands out as one of the strongest groups of the tournament. Five-time champion Brazil, 2022 World Cup semifinalist Morocco, Scotland returning to the World Cup after 28 years and Haiti returning to the big arena after 52 years face off in this group. The group's matches will be played on the US east coast in East Rutherford, Foxborough, Philadelphia, Miami Gardens and Atlanta. As a historical parenthesis, Brazil, Morocco and Scotland were also in the same group (Group A) at the 1998 World Cup; this situation adds a separate nostalgia to the group. Brazil is making its 23rd World Cup participation, while Morocco its 7th, Scotland its 9th; Haiti, on the other hand, is taking place at the World Cup for the second time since 1974 West Germany.
