ZIDANE'S CONTRACT TERMS REVEALED

However, right after Zinedine Zidane took office, this image right bonus given to the manager was completely abolished. The successful coach gave up this very important additional fee he received per match by his own will. Personal sponsorship agreements of the legendary name lie behind this surprise decision taken. Some giant brands that Zidane works with individually are in direct competition with the official sponsors of the French National Team. For example, while Zidane works with Adidas in accordance with his own agreement, Nike stands out as the official kit sponsor of the French National Team. This sacrifice of the successful coach, who rejected the image right bonus due to this great sponsorship conflict experienced, was compensated with other clauses in the contract. Much higher success bonuses for major tournaments such as the World Cup and the European Championship were added to the contract of the experienced technical man.
