One of the hottest names of the summer European transfer market has become AS Monaco's 24-year-old French star Maghnes Akliouche. According to information passed on by Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain includes Akliouche on the transfer list it has prepared for the winger position. At the same time, more than one Premier League club is continuing their talks with AS Monaco over price and transfer conditions.
Akliouche has been playing for Monaco since 2018. The left-footed right winger who came through the academy closed his last season with strong statistics: scoring 7 goals and producing 11 assists across all competitions, standing out as one of Ligue 1's most productive wingers. This performance both got him called up to the France national team and put him on the radar of European giants. Didier Deschamps included the 24-year-old star in the 2026 World Cup squad.
On the PSG side, it is known that Luis Campos has been following the Akliouche file for a long time. The capital club wants to take its "young French talent" strategy, which became clear with the Désiré Doué, Bradley Barcola and Lucas Chevalier transfers, one step further with the Akliouche transfer. Having a profile suited to Luis Enrique's playing philosophy makes the player an ideal candidate for PSG.
On the Premier League side, more than one club is active in the file. It is known that giants such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle are closely watching Akliouche's profile. It is stated that Newcastle considers the player as an alternative for Anthony Gordon's potential departure. Manchester City was also said to have been in the file in the past. Premier League clubs have started talking with AS Monaco about price and contract conditions.
Monaco's expectations for Akliouche, whose contract runs until June 2028, are high. The club demands a transfer fee between 50 and 60 million euros for the player. This figure concretely shows the young player's value in the European market. It is stated that this figure could rise even further if Akliouche delivers a brilliant performance at the World Cup.
Akliouche, in his recent statement, showed that he is leaving the door open to the possibility of departing Monaco. The young player is currently focused on the World Cup, but signals about the summer transfer window have already emerged. In the coming weeks, both his performance in the tournament and the course of this transfer file will be closely followed. PSG will put everything forward to keep Akliouche in Ligue 1; however, the financial power of Premier League clubs will be decisive in where the transfer goes.
