The first two matches of the series were played at the Ülker Sports and Event Hall hosted by Fenerbahçe Beko. In the 1st match, Fenerbahçe Beko beat Anadolu Efes 60-59; this breathtaking result in the first match set the tone of the series. In the 2nd match, Fenerbahçe Beko also won by a hair's breadth once again with 73-72 and took the series to 2-0. The victories won by a one-point margin in both matches pointed to a balanced picture in the series.
In the 3rd match played on Friday night, the table changed in favour of Anadolu Efes. From the match played at Turkcell BDC, the home team of Pablo Laso left victorious with a 102-93 score and brought the series to 2-1. The match's top scorer was Shane Larkin with 31 points; he was supported by Jordan Loyd's 23 points. At Fenerbahçe Beko, Tarık Biberovic's 29 points and Baldwin's 24 points were recorded. While Anadolu Efes closed the first three quarters ahead, it responded with Loyd's threes to Fenerbahçe Beko's attempt to melt the difference in the last period and stayed alive in the series with this victory.
The fourth match is of critical importance for both Pablo Laso's team and Fenerbahçe Beko under Saras Jasikevicius. If Anadolu Efes wins today, the series will come to 2-2 and the fifth match that will determine the series will be moved to the Ülker Sports and Event Hall. If Fenerbahçe Beko wins, it will write its name in the final; in the final, it will face the winner of the Beşiktaş GAİN - Bahçeşehir Koleji series. In the other semi-final, Bahçeşehir Koleji toppled Beşiktaş GAİN at Sinan Erdem last night with 98-95 in overtime and took the series to 2-1.
