Bahçeşehir Hosts Beşiktaş at Home

After the first two matches played at Akatlar, the series has moved to Sinan Erdem. Bahçeşehir Koleji will host Beşiktaş GAİN in the third match tonight. The series, where the side reaching three wins will advance to the final, moved into Bahçeşehir's home advantage with the 1-1 balance.

In the first match of the series, Beşiktaş GAİN had defeated Bahçeşehir Koleji 82-79 at the Akatlar Arena. In the second match, although Beşiktaş was again the home team, Bahçeşehir under Marko Barac's management won by a 22-point margin of 101-79 and brought the series to 1-1. In the second match, Malachi Flynn with 20 points, İsmet Akpınar with 17 points and Hunter Hale with 15 points took the lead on the Bahçeşehir side.

The format of the semi-final series is based on 2-2-1. The first two matches were played at the Akatlar Arena; the third and fourth matches will be held under Bahçeşehir Koleji's home hosting at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall. The return of Beşiktaş GAİN to Akatlar will only be possible from the fifth match of the series — the fifth match to be played if necessary will again be at the black-and-whites' home.

The winner of tonight's third match will take a 2-1 lead in the series and come within one win of the final. The fourth match of the series will again be played at Sinan Erdem; if the series is balanced 2-2 at that point, the decisive fifth match will be held at the Akatlar Arena. In the other semi-final series, Anadolu Efes and Fenerbahçe Beko face each other; the winner of the Beşiktaş-Bahçeşehir series will be the opponent of the team to emerge from that pair in the final.
