Bayern Munich Ready Huge Contract Offer for Harry Kane

Bayern Munich have moved to secure the future of their prolific striker. According to The Times, the Bavarian giants are preparing to submit a formal contract extension offer to Harry Kane following his return from the World Cup. According to the report, the club has no plans to reduce the English star's current annual salary of €25 million, with his contract, currently set to expire in 2027, planned to be extended until at least 2029.

Negotiations on the club's side are expected to be led by sporting director Max Eberl and CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, while Kane's father, Pat, and brother, Charlie, will represent his interests at the table. Barcelona and Saudi side Al-Hilal are also said to have shown interest in Kane, but the 32-year-old striker is said to have no intention of leaving Bayern, instead showing willingness to commit his future to the German club.

One of the more intriguing aspects of the negotiations concerns how Kane's role within the team might evolve. As he approaches the latter stages of his career, the striker is said to be open to adopting a deeper, more creative playmaking role; with his sights set on playing at the 2030 World Cup, Kane is reportedly already beginning to adapt his game as part of that ambition. It's noted that Vincent Kompany favours a flexible system built around two elite attacking threats, and that even with Kane's extension, the club has not ruled out signing another top-tier striker in future transfer windows.
