Belgium and Egypt name their starting XIs

Belgium and Egypt have confirmed their starting line-ups for their opening match in Group G at the 2026 World Cup, kicking off at 22:00 in Seattle. Both sides have opted for a 4-2-3-1. Rudi Garcia's Belgium start with Kevin De Bruyne, but Romelu Lukaku begins on the bench, with De Ketelaere leading the line. For Hossam Hassan's Egypt, captain Mohamed Salah starts and links up in attack with Omar Marmoush.
