Beşiktaş move for Vlahović: €10 million salary

Beşiktaş are preparing a concrete move for Dušan Vlahović, whose contract at Juventus is expiring. The Serbian striker's deal with Juventus runs out on June 30, and barring a last-minute development, he will become a free agent. According to Fabrizio Romano, Vlahović leaving the club this summer is the most likely outcome, while the Italian press reports that the Turkish side are currently his only concrete alternative.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Beşiktaş are prepared to invest around €30 million on the deal, including salary, signing bonus and commission fees. The same source says the club plans to offer the player a salary of around €10 million a year and a signing bonus of around €5 million. The figures underline how ambitious Beşiktaş's project is.

Another factor making the move attractive is the head coach. Beşiktaş are managed by Vincenzo Italiano, under whom Vlahović enjoyed the most prolific spell of his career while at Fiorentina; in the first half of the 2021-22 season, the Serbian forward scored 17 league goals in 21 games under the Italian. However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Vlahović is not fully convinced about moving to Turkey at this stage of his career and is taking his time to decide.

On Juventus's side, the club has tabled a renewal offer worth around €8 million a year to avoid losing him, a figure below what Vlahović earned this season. With his contract running down, the newspaper describes the offer as an "ultimatum" for the player and his representatives. Should Vlahović leave, Juventus are said to be lining up Randal Kolo Muani as an alternative. The coming days will be decisive for the Serbian striker's future.
