Real Madrid's entry has completely changed the picture. According to a report from Spain's El Debate, Spanish media claim the Ivorian is entirely won over by the idea of joining Real Madrid, and that with equal offers on the table, he would choose the Bernabeu without hesitation over Liverpool or PSG.

There is also an interesting motivation behind this development. It is reported that Real Madrid's frustration over having their $164 million offer for Julian Alvarez rejected by Atletico Madrid has motivated the club to attempt another massive transfer.

Mourinho's role in this file has also become clear. According to an earlier report from Sport Bild, Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho identified Diomande as one of the names being considered as a replacement should Vinicius Junior leave.

The player's profile and the fee negotiation have also become clear.
