CHAMPION COACH FOR TRABZONSPOR: STEFANO PIOLI ON THE AGENDA

Continuing its search for a head coach as part of the new season planning, Trabzonspor has turned its route to Italy. According to the breaking news reported by world-renowned Italian sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the burgundy-blue board has started official negotiations with the 60-year-old Italian manager Stefano Pioli, who has countless experiences in his career. Regarded as one of the most respected names in Italian football, Pioli is especially remembered for his performance at the helm of AC Milan during the 2021-2022 season. The experienced coach achieved a historical success by leading the Italian giant to the Serie A championship after exactly 11 years. The successful manager, who most recently worked at Fiorentina, had to part ways with the club after a 10-match winless streak there. However, Pioli's managerial career is not limited to Milan and Fiorentina. Having managed well-established Italian clubs such as Inter, Lazio, Parma, Sassuolo, Chievo, Bologna, and Palermo throughout his career, the Italian coach also had an overseas experience working for the Saudi Arabian representative Al-Nassr. The 60-year-old football man, who has appeared in exactly 929 official matches in his managerial career to date, has achieved 398 victories in these matches, while leaving the pitch with a defeat 272 times. With the remaining matches ending in draws, Pioli's points per match average was recorded as 1.56. If the negotiations conclude positively, a world-renowned champion coach will sit on the bench of the burgundy-blue team.
