Colombia-Ghana: Colombia into the last 16

Colombia and Ghana met in the World Cup Round of 32. Colombia won the contest, played at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, 1-0 and booked their place in the last 16. In the knockout match, Colombia managed to advance, albeit with a single goal.

An unfortunate development occurred for Colombia in the early part of the match. In the 8th minute, Córdoba could not continue due to injury and was replaced by Luis Suárez. The experienced player who came on drew attention by providing his team an important contribution within a short time. Indeed, the only goal of the match came from that name.
