Dubravka in, Vicario out: a goalkeeper reshuffle at Spurs

The goalkeeper reshuffle at Tottenham is taking shape. According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Spurs have agreed to sign former Burnley and Manchester United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka. Romano announced the deal was done with the words "Dubravka to Tottenham, here we go!" Dubravka is expected to serve as backup keeper at Spurs behind Antonin Kinsky.

The other side of this move is the departure of current keeper Guglielmo Vicario. Per Romano, Vicario will leave Tottenham this summer, with Italian clubs showing keen interest in the player. The Italian gloveman wants to return home. According to the reporting, Juventus have been informed about Vicario in case Aston Villa's price for Dibu Martínez does not drop. Napoli, meanwhile, are monitoring Vicario should they be able to sell a goalkeeper this summer; the player is one of the names on Napoli's shortlist.

Vicario's exit points to a significant change in Tottenham's goalkeeper hierarchy. The Italian gloveman suffered an injury for part of the season, during which Kinsky came to the fore as the manager's choice. Under Roberto De Zerbi, the plan now is for Kinsky to serve as the No. 1 at Spurs, with the experienced Dubravka backing him up.

Spurs' transfer activity this summer is not limited to the goalkeeper position. Per Romano, Tottenham have also put Manchester City's Savinho on their radar to strengthen the attack. The club are also expected to make a second bid to Newcastle United for midfielder Sandro Tonali; the first bid of £75 million was rejected by Newcastle. This activity on the Tottenham front points to a possible change in the squad's look before the new season.
