Fenerbahce are in the closing stages of their next attacking signing. According to Italian transfer specialist Marco Conterio, the Turkish club has reached an agreement in principle with Senegalese winger Ismaila Sarr and is now negotiating final details with Crystal Palace. After months of talks with Rafael Leao failed to produce a breakthrough, Fenerbahce's management have accelerated their pursuit of Sarr.
The move follows Sarr's best season yet in a Crystal Palace shirt. The Senegalese international drew attention with four goals for his country at the 2026 World Cup and helped Palace beat Manchester City to win a historic Community Shield, form that has attracted interest from major European clubs. Manchester United had also been closely tracking the winger, though it remains unclear whether an official offer had ever been made.
Marcus Rashford had also been on Fenerbahce's list alongside Sarr, though the England international was said to be less enthusiastic about a move to the Super Lig. Following those developments, Sarr became a more attainable target for the Istanbul club, with the deal now understood to be down to formalities between the two clubs.
