The Turkish club have reached an agreement with Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow over the player's transfer, worth a total of €28 million, comprising €25 million fixed plus €3 million in bonuses.
This agreement between the two clubs is being seen as the clearest sign yet that the transfer process is nearing a happy conclusion. Following the completion of the deal between the clubs, details of the payment plan are now reportedly being discussed. This stage is said to be one of the last technical details before the transfer is finalised.
Batrakov's performances, despite his young age, are recalled as the main reason behind Galatasaray's determination to pursue this transfer. The creativity and goal contribution the player would bring to midfield and attack are said to hold an important place in the Turkish club's plans for next season.
Fans expect the transfer to be finalised shortly once the payment plan is also clarified. Batrakov travelling to Istanbul for a signing ceremony is seen as a matter of time.
