Galatasaray have turned their attention to Stuttgart's Moroccan star Bilal El Khannouss in their search for creative reinforcement in midfield. According to Sky Sport Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, the German club has set a €60 million valuation for the 22-year-old No. 10, making clear they won't even consider an offer below that figure. The report notes that Galatasaray remain keen to complete the deal despite the hefty price tag.
El Khannouss's name had previously been floated to Galatasaray by agents, with his performances at Stuttgart, where he spent last season on loan from Leicester City, said to have caught the club's attention. The young playmaker, who made 41 Bundesliga appearances with nine goals and seven assists and used that form to earn a place in Morocco's 2026 World Cup squad, stands out for his creativity and passing quality.
According to the report, two Premier League clubs have already made initial contact with Stuttgart over El Khannouss, though no official offer has been submitted yet. Newcastle United, who had also shown interest last summer, are said to be among the clubs that could become involved in the process. Stuttgart's management view El Khannouss as a key part of their sporting project and are reluctant to let him go easily, with Galatasaray's determination in this race expected to become clearer in the coming days.
