GUARDIOLA BREAKS HIS SILENCE: I STAND BY MY CLUB

Pep Guardiola, the most successful manager in Manchester City history, broke his silence and sent a historic open letter to the fans during the difficult process the club goes through. As it is known, the Spanish manager decided not to start this season at the head of the team due to the intense mental fatigue he experienced and retreated to his corner to rest. Following this decision of his, Italian coach Enzo Maresca took over the managerial seat. However, the English giant dragged into a deep crisis both on and off the pitch, failing to start the season as desired. The bad results the team gets consecutively and the turbulent period within the club lead the fans to a great anxiety. Right in this environment of uncertainty, Pep Guardiola gives a very strong message of support to the community with the open letter he penned. The successful manager showed his sense of belonging to the whole world clearly by using the words, "I am here MORE THAN EVER. I will always stand by my club, the owners, and our staff. We will get through this together." The fact that Guardiola stands by the team in heart, even if not physically on the sidelines, alleviates the massive pressure on Enzo Maresca and the footballers to some extent. The club management and fans unite again with this sincere statement coming from their legendary coach. How Manchester City will get out of this crisis environment continues to be a matter of great curiosity in the coming days. This spiritual support Guardiola shows will create a strong driving force for the team to recover.
