HISTORIC BAD START FROM NAPOLI UNDER ALLEGRI'S MANAGEMENT

Napoli started the season with complete disappointment under its new head coach Massimiliano Allegri. The team, collecting only seven points in the first five weeks, fell to ninth place in the standings. Distancing itself six points from the summit race already, Napoli made the worst league start in the last ten years of the club's history. Experienced Italian coach Allegri drew great reaction from fans due to his slow-paced football. In Napoli, which left the field with one point by failing to protect its superiority despite taking the lead in the Fiorentina away game, the poor form of star players caught attention. Hojlund, who took the pitch with great expectations, and experienced maestro Kevin De Bruyne wandered around like ghosts against the Fiorentina defense. This attacking barrenness deepened the team's longing for victory. The opponent team easily parried Napoli's weak attacks. The sports press revealed the gravity of the situation by comparing Allegri's disastrous start with past periods. The team, lagging far behind the legendary championship-winning Napoli squads of Antonio Conte and Luciano Spalletti, even desperately looked for the eight-point start in the chaotic 2023-2024 season managed by Rudi Garcia and Mazzarri. Entering the national match break with a huge crisis, all eyes turned to the critical three-match series. In this difficult bend that will determine Massimiliano Allegri's fate, the Italian team will face Frosinone at home, Villarreal away in Europe, and Venezia away in the league, respectively. The club management clearly conveyed to the technical committee that they expected nine points without any loss from this fixture. The Italian media brought to the headlines that possible negative results in this difficult period could end the experienced coach's Napoli career very early. Fans are now anxiously waiting to see if the team can finally overcome this massive crisis on the pitch.
