Liverpool's Massive Offer to PSG: Over €100M for Barcola

Liverpool have taken a significant step in what could become their biggest attacking signing following Mohamed Salah's departure. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Merseyside club has submitted an opening bid worth over €100 million to PSG for French winger Bradley Barcola. Romano wrote that Liverpool are looking to strike a deal worth around £100 million for the forward, potentially following a similar structure to last summer's Florian Wirtz transfer (roughly £100 million plus £16 million in bonuses).

PSG's public valuation of €170 million (£145 million) for the 23-year-old is described as a figure Liverpool have no intention of paying. Romano stated: "Liverpool are not paying 170 million euros, I can tell you this. So, they need to find a reasonable price and the conversation will continue." It's noted that personal terms won't be an issue, with Barcola himself said to be very keen on the move and excited about the prospect of joining Liverpool.

Barcola, who made 49 appearances across all competitions last season contributing 13 goals and seven assists but was benched on 14 occasions, has made clear he won't sign a new contract at PSG. Meanwhile, PSG have generated significant income through sales such as Randal Kolo Muani (€38m+€12m to Juventus) and Goncalo Ramos (to Milan), meaning the club feels no urgent pressure to sell — a factor strengthening their negotiating position in the Barcola talks.
