Luka Doncic's turbulent split from ex-fiancée Anamaria Goltes has taken a fresh and unexpected turn. According to TMZ, Goltes had withdrawn her child support petition in California the previous week, suggesting the two sides might reach an amicable resolution. Instead, the opposite has occurred. Goltes has now filed a new claim in Slovenia, seeking a total settlement of $50 million from the Lakers star. Sources speaking to TMZ say $40 million of that figure is for Goltes herself, with the remaining $10 million believed to be for the couple's two daughters.
According to the report, alongside the financial demand, Goltes is also seeking to reduce Doncic's custody rights; he currently has the children at least two days a week, and Goltes reportedly wants that cut down to one day a week. The couple ended their nearly decade-long engagement in March 2026, with Doncic explaining at the time that the relationship ended largely because he had been unable to keep his two young daughters with him in the United States during the NBA season, adding that his priority would always be their well-being.
It's worth recalling that Doncic skipped playing for Slovenia's national team this summer to focus on pursuing joint custody and has remained in Slovenia to stay close to his daughters. The Lakers star is also reportedly set to host the entire Lakers squad for a four-day minicamp in Slovenia later this month, as he looks to combine basketball with family life during this period.
