An important development has emerged in Trabzonspor's pursuit of Mohamed Salah. According to journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, the Egyptian star is receptive to the offer put forward by the Turkish club and will finalise his decision after discussing it with his family. The update is being read as a significant sign that the transfer is moving closer to becoming official.

As previously reported, Trabzonspor opened formal contact with Salah's representative on August 1, after his talks with Besiktas collapsed over financial disagreements, tabling a two-year deal worth €17 million annually. That figure amounts to a guaranteed €34 million salary package across two seasons, surpassing Besiktas' previous offer even before accounting for any bonuses.

Besiktas football director Onder Ozen had previously explained the club stepped away from negotiations because the terms requested by Salah's representatives risked undermining its financial principles. Now, with Trabzonspor's strong offer on the table and Salah showing a positive signal in response, the transfer appears to be entering its final stage. His decision, expected after speaking with his family, will determine the fate of what could become one of the most notable transfers in Turkish football history.
