PSG-Ajax Talks Open Over Mika Godts Transfer

Paris Saint-Germain have set their sights on Ajax's standout winger Mika Godts as they look to strengthen their attack. According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the French champions have opened talks with the Eredivisie club over a move for the 21-year-old Belgian. Ajax are keen to keep their prized asset, but are aware of PSG's concrete interest.

Primarily a left winger who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, Godts scored 17 goals and provided 13 assists in 34 Eredivisie appearances last season, contributing 17 goals and 15 assists in 44 games across all competitions. His performances earned him the 2025-26 Eredivisie Talent of the Year award, and his pace, close control and finishing have drawn comparisons to former Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

Reports indicate Godts met with PSG sporting director Luis Campos in Porto, with the talks described as positive. Ajax are said to be demanding a "giant sum" of around €60 million for the winger, who is under contract until 2029.

The move is seen as PSG preparing a potential replacement for Bradley Barcola, who has informed the club he will not extend his contract and is expected to leave this summer, with Liverpool the frontrunners for his signature. PSG are also on the verge of completing a separate deal for Monaco's Maghnes Akliouche, with Godts viewed as an additional attacking option.
