PSG and Inter want Camavinga: Real expect €60m

For Real Madrid to move in this summer's transfer market, they first need to make a significant sale from their squad, and all the signs point to that player being Eduardo Camavinga. According to Spanish outlet AS, the Madrid club hope to bring in around €60 million from the 23-year-old French midfielder.

It has been a difficult season for Camavinga; with his performances not fully meeting expectations, the player was not even included in France's squad for the 2026 World Cup. That situation has led both the player and the club to rethink their plans for the future. Real Madrid's board intend to use the income from Camavinga's sale to renew their midfield and make the reinforcements they want.

At the front of the queue for the Frenchman is Paris Saint-Germain. The French giants, under Luis Enrique, want to bring Camavinga in to form a strong midfield trio alongside João Neves and Vitinha. The prospect of a return to his home country is one of the factors making the move attractive.

Another club interested in the player is Inter of Italy. The Nerazzurri, looking to rebuild their midfield, are monitoring Camavinga closely. However, both the transfer fee and the player's high salary (around €12.5 million gross per season) stand out as the biggest obstacles to the deal.

Signed from Rennes in 2021 for around €31 million and under contract at Real Madrid until 2029, Camavinga is notable for his versatility. Also on the radar of Premier League clubs, where the player ends up this summer will directly affect both Real Madrid's transfer plans and the midfield setups of the interested clubs. On the Madrid side, the decision will hinge on incoming offers and the player's own preference.
