The future of young Brazilian talent Endrick, who has struggled to find playing time at Real Madrid, is back in the spotlight. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have moved to sign the 19-year-old forward, a player head coach Gian Piero Gasperini has long admired. The club's sporting director, Tony D'Amico, travelled to Madrid to hold talks with Real Madrid and assess the situation firsthand.
Endrick, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Olympique Lyon and contributed eight goals and eight assists in 21 appearances across all competitions, has struggled to find a place in a crowded Real Madrid attack since returning. With no clear place for the 2006-born Brazilian in head coach Jose Mourinho's hierarchy, Real Madrid's management is reportedly considering sending him out on loan once again.
According to the report, while Real Madrid are only willing to consider a straight loan, Roma are pushing instead for a structure that includes an option to buy along with a potential Real Madrid buy-back clause — a model similar to the one used by Como in last summer's Nico Paz deal. Endrick, who joined from Palmeiras for €47.5 million in the summer of 2024 and remains under contract with Real Madrid until 2030, has contributed seven goals in 40 appearances for the club to date, and also represented Brazil at the 2026 World Cup.
