Former NBA point guard Rajon Rondo declared Philadelphia 76ers the favourites to win the championship this season in comments made on the Road Trippin Show. Rondo began by calling his former teammate LeBron James' move to the Sixers "a smart move."
Rondo also had high praise for young star Tyrese Maxey: "He arguably has the best young point guard in the league. I think he averaged 30 points a game this year. Bron is like the king on the chessboard for this team. He has more than enough of the right pieces around him to make the right moves." These comments clearly reveal Rondo's confidence in the quality of the roster around LeBron.
The former point guard also offered a notable assessment of LeBron's basketball IQ: "We all know he's one of the greatest basketball minds ever.
