Striking Confession from President Dursun Özbek

Dursun Özbek, the president of the yellow-red club, expressed how tired he was of the political conflicts within the club and the exhausting atmosphere with extremely striking and sincere words. According to the exclusive statements reached by Milliyet newspaper that dropped like a bombshell on the sports agenda, the experienced president emphasized that he was completely fed up with this exhausting politics.

Özbek used the following expressions in his statement: "Frankly, I am really tired and sick of Galatasaray politics. My main plan was to leave my position at the peak with that unique and great happiness brought by being champions for 4 consecutive years. My only dream was to sit comfortably in my armchair at home, sip my drink with pleasure, and just watch the match of the team I support like a fan." However, clearly explaining why he had to postpone this dream, the successful president said, "Unfortunately, I could not put this plan into practice because I had to complete the facilities and unfinished major projects that are vital for the future of the club.
